Terms of Service

Last updated May 5, 2026. These terms are provided as a strong starting point and should be reviewed by counsel before launch.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing Veritable or submitting an item for review, you agree to these terms and any additional authorization, submission, or certificate terms presented during the workflow.

Independent authentication opinion

Veritable provides an independent opinion based on submitted photographs, item details, documentation, reviewer expertise, and available market knowledge. Authentication outcomes may include Authentic, Not Authentic, or Inconclusive.

Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for submitting accurate item information, original photos, lawful possession of the goods, and any documentation you provide. You must not submit altered images or misleading information.

Authorization and billing

This configuration does not collect online payments. The representative authorization screen may show a declined status without charging the customer. Any future billing or manual invoicing terms should be presented separately before a charge is made.

Certificates

A Veritable COA is issued only when the submitted item is determined Authentic and the selected service tier includes certificate documentation. Certificates may be revoked or voided if errors, fraud, duplicate issuance, or material new information emerges.

Public verification

Public verification pages are intended to confirm certificate status and non-private item information. Customer identity and private photos are not displayed unless expressly permitted.

Account security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify Veritable promptly if unauthorized access is suspected.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veritable is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the service, resale decisions, marketplace disputes, or reliance on an authentication result.

Trademark notice

Veritable is an independent authentication service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any designer brands, fashion houses, or trademark owners. Brand names are used only for identification of goods submitted for authentication.
